Instructors Using the Education Technology Center

The Education Technology Center is located in the Science and Technology at the East end of the campus (Room 243). ETC also offers evening and weekend phone support for WebCT.

The Education Technology staff will provide technical assist for instructors.

*Faculty Smart Classroom/Course Development Opportunities :

*Smart Classroom Cabinet Key Requests

*Equipment Requests - Laptops, cameras, digital video recorders, digital DVD recorder, tripods, PDA's, MP3 players, microphones(lapel, head, desktop), speakers, projectors, VCR...

*Software such as:  Camtasia, Microsoft 2007, Photoshop 5, Expression Web2, Soft Chalk, Crazy Talk and Audacity.

*Smart Classroom Requests - need added equipment, software or training

*Smart Classroom Quotes- equipment and software quotes

*Brain Storming - assist with ideas and applications

*CD/ DVD Duplication - duplication of CD/DVD's for online/classroom use

*Video editing- editing of video for online/classroom use

*Audio editing - editing of audio/podcasts for online/classroom use

*Convert formats for audio/video

*Video/audio production - filming/recording of audio video for online/classroom use

Smart Classrooms

*Classroom Support - Classroom equipment or software support for online/classroom

*Instructor Support - support instructor needs for training, equipment check-out for development of classroom material.

*Equipment Support - Maintain equipment for Classroom instructional use

*Equipment inventory - maintain equipment inventory

*Software installation - install software, software updates and computer images

Web Pages

*Departmental webs - assist departments with development, construction, and updating web pages for departmental use. Also, assist instructors with web pages or web-based materials used for instruction.

*CD/DVD production - direct, film, edit and produce video for CD/DVD or web-based media

*Podcast - edit, post audio from Pod cast into web available format s such as MP3, MP4, wav, etc.
